Eternal Father, in Your boundless mercy, You gave the world a shepherd after Your own heart, Pope Francis, a humble servant who strove to walk in the footsteps of Christ.
You called him to lead with compassion, to speak for the poor, and to open the doors of Your Church wide to all.
Now, if his earthly journey has ended, we entrust him to Your loving arms.
Welcome him into the joy of Your eternal kingdom, where pain and sorrow are no more, and let him behold Your glory, face to face.
May his legacy of mercy, justice, and peace continue to echo in the hearts of the faithful.
